Could be LMS 3.1 installed on a System Hardening? We are getting many issue after that we have installed the LMS 3.1 on System hardening. Is there any special procedure to install the LMS 3.1 on Solaris 10 System hardening?

Thanks for your responses

LMS is not tested with a hardened Solaris OS. We have no documented procedures to do it.

While not a strictly "supported" installation, it is possible to harden a Solaris host that has CiscoWorks LMS installed on it.

You need to pay careful attention to the ports required by CiscoWorks and make sure that your hardening has not blocked the ports or their associated applications from communicating. See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_lan_management_solution/3.2/install/guide1/prereq.html#wp1108769 for details.

Addendum:

A team I worked with successfully adapted a hardened Solaris 9 installation using the United States National Security Agency (NSA) hardening guidelines posted here:

http://www.nsa.gov/ia/guidance/security_configuration_guides/operating_systems.shtml#sun_solaris

and, more specifically, here:
