Cisco 3825, WIC-2T and X.21. Maximum speed?

Little confused about the using the WIC-2T card in the Cisco 3825 router with an 8Mbps, X.21 serial WAN Link.

The WIC-2T data sheet mentions that there are known problems with X.21 above a clock speed of 4MHz (surely that is 4Mbps).

Bottom line, is 4Mbps the max on the WIC-2T at X.21?

Yes. You need balanced interface for high speeds, and in most cases, X.21 is not. So if doesn't work, cisco declines responsibilities.

Would be curious to know which telco is giving you an 8 mbps circuit with X.21 interface. Or it is a microwave link ?
