ACE - insert HTTP-headers from certificates when using client auth

Hi Netpros,

I'm migrating from CSS to ACE.

Some of my sites are using SSL client authentication and CSS acts as SSL-terminator. Also backend servers need client certificate number (CN) to be forwarded from CSS. In this configuration I'm simply using “ssl-server XX http-header client-cert” directives on my CSS and everything works perfect.

But as I understood, ACE can only insert a limited value of dynamic HTTP-headers (src/dst port and IP)? Or there is some way to insert CNs in headers?

this is currently not possible to insert certificate information into the http header.

We are still working on this feature for a future (undefined) release.

Gilles.
