Initial Phase
PSTN (xx1000-xx2999 DID)->E1 R2-> PBX-> extensions (1000-2999)
Migration Phase
PSTN (xx1000-xx2999 DID)->E1 R2 -> C3845->E1 R2-> PBX -> extensions (1000-2000)
PSTN (xx1000-xx2999 DID)->E1 R2 ->C3845->GigabitEthernet->CUCM 7.0->extensions (2000-2999)
I want to migrate extensions 2000 to 2999 from PBX to IP Telephony.The PBX knows just E1 CAS R2 signalling.I put the router C3845 between PSTN and PBX but i know that CUCM 7.0 not support E1 CAS R2 signalling and is not possible to control E1 R2 interfaces on router C3845.
How i can make this migration?
Any suggestions? Any configuration example?
Thanks.

Use H.323 as protocol between CUCM and GW.
That way you can use E1 R2 or whatever else.

This configuration is good?
CUCM 7.0 - 172.16.0.10
C3845 - 172.16.0.1
CUCM 7.0 configuration:
-configure H323 gateway (device name : 172.16.0.1)
-configure route pattern to PSTN (route pattern: 9.@, gateway: 172.16.0.1)
C3845 configuration:
isdn incoming-voice voice
#e1 r2 to PSTN
controller e1 0/0/0
ds0-group 0 timeslots 1 31 type r2 digital
#e1 r2 to PBX
controller e1 0/0/1
ds0-group 0 timeslots 1 31 type r2 digital
#dial 2000-2999
dial-peer voice 2000 voip
destination-pattern 2...
session target ipv4:172.16.0.10
codec g711ulaw
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
#dial PSTN

usually there is more stuff configured for R2, you should find an example for your country.

but except r2 configuration, what is your opinion for the rest of configuration?

Seems fine, on the DP for the PBX you may want to have "forward-digits all" else it doesn't get all the digits.
Also, have network-clock-select from PSTN, use clock internal to the PBX.
In any case, I recommend you hire a professional for the job, because customer get nervous very quickly with PBXs and a beginner doesn't have the time to do trial and error.
