folks
i have 2 * 3560es set up for resilience with 2 uplink ports but spanning tree takes 50 secs to failover so i want to enable rapid spanning tree
can anyone let me know the relevant commands or post a link for a config guide
i'm running c3560e-universalk9-mz.122-35.SE5

Have a look at this document, it is for the 6500 but it is relevant to the 3560 -

Hi Michael,
To enable Rapid STP, all you have to do is use the spanning-tree mode rapid-pvst in global configuration mode.
Make sure you put this command on all your switches, otherwise the switch without this command will use 802.1D.
