Hi,
I have faced memory related thing. PPP IP Route process eating a lot memory.

What is this process doing ?

These are bugs called "memory leak", quite common in IOS. Try updating IOS.

I'm hoping, believing, desiring it was memory leak.

It happens since I've configured policy-map and route-map on this router.
