HI first of all, the system log like below:
Jun 18 08:59:28 c_kc2 4577: Jun 18 09:42:17 KST: %FIB-2-FIBDISABLE: Fatal error, slot 8/0 (8): CEF-Common: no memory
Jun 18 08:59:28 c_kc2 4578: SLOT 8: Jun 18 09:42:17 KST: %SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation of 65536 bytes failed from 0x4022FA00, alignment 4
On the our SIP-200 with 4 FE, We get the above log. our system component like this:
RSP-720-3CXL, FlexWAN 4EA, SIP-200 1EA.
Why the above symtom was occured?
Any thought?
Thanks in advance

Hello Sung,
>> Why the above symtom was occured?
Because the linecard CEF memory is ended you may consider a memory upgrade on it if possible.
Have you got any DFC or CFC installed on it ?
You can post sh module to see this
Edit:
I mean the linecard attempts to have a complete copy of the CEF table as created by supervisor but it fails.
Hope to help

HI..
Thank you for your comment on my question.
AS I wrote above article, Our module is SIP-200, it has no DFC card on it.
and then routing table on RSP 720 is only 644 only,, It's quite a little on RSP 720.
I know that the mem error was caused above symtom, but It is not a memory utilization issue.
Please Let me know if I can do for you if anything.
Thank in advance.

Hello Sung,
so two possibilities are left:
a software bug
a problem on memory chips on the linecard
Hope to help
Giuseppe
