hi,

I know that unity runs under windows 2000 or 2003 and unity connection under linux.

But apart the different OS, is it the same application, are they configured in the same way ? is "connection" going to replace completely "unity".

I was looking for a book to learn about "unity connection" but I only found books related to unity only. Can I use these to learn about "unity connection".

Thanks in advance.

Unity Connections is quite similar to Unity in many ways. The interface is quite a bit different, but it has much of the same functionality. Unity will still exist as long as there is demand for Unified Messaging. With Connections you can use IMAP to view voice messages instead of integrating with Exchange. You can start learning about Connection by going through some Cisco documentation: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6509/tsd_products_support_series_home.html
