Greetings;
A couple of question on customizing the programming on 7965 phone:
1) Is there anyway to customize content displayed when the help button is pressed?
2) Can the mute button be disabled?
3) Can a "check-in" button be programmed. i.e. a button would flash between 6 and 10 everyday and once pressed it would stop flashing and notification would be send to the server

1) yes, under enterprise parameter you set the help URL, write a custom script to show whatever you want
2) no
3) This is all you can configure:

But any of the above provides a blinking and then just sends something. Use EM if you need them to log in to make calls.
