Hi,


Did you have an outage? The keepalive message is for the WCP which runs between the WiSM service ports and the Sup. The alarm is because this link was down. Perhaps show logging from the Sup may show whether there was an outage.


The alarms won't clear from WCS automatically because traps are only sent for heatbeat loss, not re-establishment. If you monitor 'show wism status' from the Sup and the WiSMs stay 'Oper-Up', clear the alarm manually from WCS.

No, there was no outage.

The WiSM are linecards of the 6509-E which are running without interruption since end of last year when i made the last IOS update
