Hello Jianghui,

Sam has explained the DOM feature in the other thread you opened:

From Sam's post:

Not all modules are DOM capable, see compatibility here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/transceiver_modules/compatibility/matrix/OL_8031.html

So you need to verify if your optical modules support monitoring but you may need also some command in global config mode as explained by Sam.

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Hi Giuseppe:

I checked config and command doc for 12.2.50 version, but I can't find out which command I can config this funcion on cisco3560g,what you mendtioned some command in global config mode is the key.

BTW the SFP is supported by DOM

thanks

Hello Jianghui,

Sam mentioned the following command

transceiver type all

but now I'm not sure it is given in global config and also I'm afraid this platform doesn't support DOM.

I've tried on a C3560E we have and I cannot find any option to give this command it is not present in global config and in interface mode

Hope to help

Giuseppe
