Telnet / SSH Hangs

Hi Guys,

I am running in wired problem. I have issue with telnet into a CISCO 2811 router.

Problem is when I telnet to router through PUTTY / WINDOWS CMD, telnet session hangs after 1 min of a successful login, but when I telnet to the same router through connected switch or other router it works fine and session don't hang.

ROuter is running with 12.4(21) IOS.

Clear the Vty lines with “Clear lines” and try to telnet. A router appears to stop working when the system is not responsive to the console or to queries sent from the Telnet. This may also be the possible to hangs.
