Hello,
I am trying to get a CCME 7.0 install going with outbound calls on a PRI. This is in an area with 10 digit dialing for local calls. RIght now I have this dial peer to handle all calls:
dial-peer voice 3 pots
description PRI Outbound_Local
translation-profile outgoing CALLER_ID_TRANSLATION_PROFILE
destination-pattern 8.T
port 0/0/0:23
It is working for both local and LD but it has to timeout first. How can I get calls to flow out immediatly for both 10 digit local and 11 digit long calls?
Thanks in advance! All replies rated

With proper configuration.
destination-pattern 81[2-9][0-8].[2-9]......
forward-digits 11
And the local DP, assume there is only one area code
destination-pattern 8555[2-9]......
forward-digits 10

Hello,
Your "T" in your destination pattern instructs the dial peer to wait for the 15 second interdigit timeout before forwarding the digits to the PSTN. To get the call to complete quicker, you may want to use a more explicit destination pattern.
Example
dial-peer voice 3 pots
descrip PRI Outbound_Local
translation-profile outgoing CALLER_ID_TRANSLATION_PROFILE
destination-pattern 8[2-9].........
port 0/0/0:23
forward-digits 10
For LD calls the destination pattern would be
destination-pattern 81[2-9].........
and
forward-digits 11
Hope that helped, if so please rate.

You can do a "debug isdn q931", "term mon" to see how the called and calling number get presented to the gateway.

No debug needed, the answers above perfectly address the question.
The only thing missing is posts rating.
