IOS Licence: 3750 Switch

Hi,

I have purchased the cisco 3750 switch from cisco retailter that comes with the IP base image. I want to upgrade it to IP services image to have more functionality. Does it require to purchase the licence? I have the CCO account and can download the Ip services image from cisco website but i am not sure its legal or not? your help will be appriciated.

You do need to purchase the Enhanced Multilayer Software Image license to legally run it. If you can provide the exact model (post a show version), we can get you the part number to order.
