Troubleshooting the cause of a failover and I get the following:

jeromecandiff
Level 1
Level 1

%PIX-1-104001: (Secondary) Switching to ACTIVE - Set by the config command.

Prior to that, there is no indication of any issues. I initially believed that is the result of a manual failover but there was no evidence that anyone logged in.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You are right that only means someone manually set it via CLI.

To confirm if this is the case, look for syslogs 111009 and 111008 during the time you saw the above message.

You should also enable logging on both the devices.
