connecting 2 bldgs with 8mb layer 2 link

i have 2 bldgs connected with a layer 2 8mb link, plugging into a 100mb port of a 3560 at each end. I would like to shape outbound traffic to 8m and make sure voice gets transmitted in priority queue. with llc, only occures when 100mb port is congested, but in my case 10mb is really congested so trying to figure out best way?

Hello Mike,

setting the port ot 10 Mbps full can be the first step.

then you can take advantage of the shaped rate version of SRR egress queueing

to have a way to shape each queue

Any reason you can't hard set the port 10mb, full duplex? That will get you closer to what you would like to achieve.
