Utilization of VLAN

Hello Ronald,
the answer is platform dependent
on routers with subinterfaces a useful command is:
sh vlan
sh vlans ( on modern IOS supporting etherswitches modules)
that provides counters for each Vlan.
On multilayer switches the answer vary: on powerful modern IOS C6500 the SVI counters are aligned with MLS statistics
on some older devices the statistics of SVIs were representing only packets processed by the route processor and most of traffic statistics could be read on MLS show commands.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

try show interface vlanxxx where xxx is the number of your vlan.

You can use "show interface vlan # summary" or/and "show interface vlan # stats" commands to identify it.
Or use Cisco Network Assistant to monitor it.
Hope this help.
