C3750(G) memory leak

Hello,

we have a stack of two 3750 (one 3750G-24TS and one 3750-24TS) with the latest image (12.2(50)SE2) installed.

Now it seems that we are facing a quite fast memory leak (see the picture attached).

I checked the services for two days and I think I found the two services which cause this leak:

Day 1:

sh processes memory sorted allocated

PID TTY Allocated Freed Holding Getbufs Retbufs Process

101 0 924787248 924787248 7052 0 0 HRPC pm-counters

147 0 824379656 783273592 63040 0 0 HQM Stack Proces

148 0 803995304 803995304 61052 0 0 HRPC qos request

Day 3:

sh processes memory sorted allocated

PID TTY Allocated Freed Holding Getbufs Retbufs Process

147 0 2056730012 2005617376 63040 55836 0 HQM Stack Proces

148 0 2031500660 2031500660 61052 0 0 HRPC qos request

101 0 1147148112 1147148112 7052 0 0 HRPC pm-counters

So we can see that the allocated memory for the HQM Stack Proces and the HRPC qos request process doubled within 2 days.

I didn't find anything in the bug database for this case (http server are disabled, no snmp polling with CNA).

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Daniel

"Any ideas?"

If it's a software defect caused memory leak, a) contact TAC, and/or b) drop back a release or two.
