Remote VPN sites cannot talk to each other CCME

Hi

Head Office has a 2811 CCME, connected to an 877 for broadband connectivity

Remote site 1 has a 877 VPN'ed into head office

Remote site 2 has a 877 VPN'ed into head office

the remote sites can phone (via a 7921 and 7906 respectivley) head office over the VPN with no problems, via the internal ext numbers.

Head office can call them back no problems on their internal ext numbers.

The remote sites however cannot speak to each other - but they cann ring each other - just the voice traffic doesnt get set up.

If they dial each others DDI number they can then successfully talk to each other.

Where am I going wrong?

Thanks

You VPN is not configured properly, or you have FW, ACLS, etc.

there are multiple threads in this forum taht deal with very similar issues.

signalliing apparently works fine.

RTP streams cannot be routed that is the problem, when you say "VPN-ed in". do you mean Cisco VPN client? and do all these users have an IP address in the same pool?

start of testing this by using two IP address pools and see if calls can bve made between them.

Hi

Remote Site 1 and 2 have IKE tunnels to the head office 877 router.

These sites can talk to head office (behind the 877) with no problems.

I discovered that I couldnt telnet from Remote Site 1 to Remote Siet 2 and vice versa, so I added routes on both to take them via the 877 at head office - telnet traffic now flows an Remote Site 1 and 2 can see each other now.

However voice traffic still doesnt work
