We have fixed the UCM server NIC Speed to 100 and Duplex to full and configured the connecting Cisco switch port Speed to 100 and Duplex to full..But still, the Cisco switch is reporting Duplex mismacth..

UCM Server details:

MCS7835H2-K9-CMC1 - HW/SW MCS 7835-H2 Unified CM 7.0 Appliance

Hi,

Can you set the port speed and duplex to auto on UCM and switch port? If after that you still get the same error, it could be a switch port issue or a bad NIC on the server.

Thanks,

We tried that and it did not work..Initially both the switch port and the UCM NIC were in AUTO mode. After encountering duplex mismatch issue, we fixed the port speed and duplex at both end.

Thanks

I know it's a silly question but have you rebooted the server following the change to the onboard NIC?

Hello,

I had same problem, had to disable cdp on the switch ports to remove this error. Believe it to be a bug as no errors etc on ports.

Many thanks..It is indeed a bug.. We managed to resolve this issue by disabling the CDP on the switch ports..
