Caller ID maximum length displayed on IP phone screen

Hi All,

Is there any information for the maximum Caller ID length which can be fully displayed on the IP phone screen? Because if the Caller ID is too long, it can not be fully displayed on the screen and "..." will be display.

Which exact phone model and firmware are you using ?

various phone model is using, most use 7941 and 7961. Anywhere I can find out the information? I remember there was information somewhere but I cannot find it out now...

Hi there,

I don't want to open an xx-th topic about Caller ID on Cisco, however being this one to be most appropriate while someone's searching for "caller id length" (regarding FXS possibly, also placed under "Other VOIP topic"), I utlilize it to ask this :

Why with default caller-id setup on Cisco VOIP gateway the maximum length is 10 digits only? Can it be adjusted to longer format?
