ASA5505 ASDM access

I have an ASA5505. I am having a problem accessing the configuration through the ASDM with my server. I can access it from my laptop. Both the laptop and the server are on the inside with the same IP structure. The server will connect and go through updating the software and then start to load the configuration. It looks like it uploads the configuration and then before it would normally display it, I get an error saying that it could not upload the configuration and that I should check cables/connections. I don't think it is a configuration problem. Any suggestions? Thanks, Kevin

I had the same problem as well with the same error message with the latest Java. I found that downgrading to Java Version 6 Update 7 resolved this issue. See if that helps any.
