on a call between 2 cisco ip phones 7912, phone A press monitor and can listen in speaker mode the phone B, but the phone B can hear anything. The phone A talk through the handset becouse the 7912 dont have 2 ways speaker.
7912 does not have "speaker mode" it has "monitor" mode that only allows you to monitor the call - you can hear other side but other side cannot hear you. There is no microphone in 7912 also.
