Device Pool CUCM

Hi I have a new question about the configuration of the device pool in the Cisco Call Manager.

I have the Cisco Call Manager Conference Bridge registered in the CCM. I have two device pool for the phones, DevicePoolSiteA to phonesA and DevicePoolSiteB to phoneB, and the Conference Bridge is configured in the Default Pool. A Media Resource Group List was configured in the phones.

But when the Phone a call to phone b, the call is established,so the phone A call to phone c, the call is established, but when the phone a press the button confr, the conference between the phone a, b and c, is not establish and busy tone is heard.

When the phone's are configured in the default device pool the conference works without problem.

How is the best configuration of this scenario ?? I don't can configure the all phones in the same device pool.

Any suggestion.

Thanks

Let me guess, you have different regions on each DP. This is a codec issue.

You can configure a 3rd region, set it on CFB and set all other regions to talk to G711 with it.

Thanks Java i had same issue and tried the same which you mentioned and now its working.

So that means that to be able to have conference calls between the device pools they should be using same codec ?

Does the same applies in case of route point ?

As my one route point is in devpool A and phone in devpoolB cannot call that number.

Please advices.

Thanks
