DMA VIC Warning

Hi,


I have the following warning on a MGCP gateway -


Row: 3 SQL error: -746(4202)

Warning message (Business Rule Violation): This VIC card is not allowed for this gateway, under specified slot position and SlotModule

The VIC card is currently working OK, is this something new in CUCM 7.0.1 or is this just a flag and can be ignored?

It sounds like you are hitting this bug;


CSCsv37730 Bug Details

Cisco 1760 Gateway: supported VICs differ between 4.x and later.

Symptom:

Errors in DMA process related to Cisco 1760 gateway, reported similar to the following:

Warning message (Business Rule Violation): This VIC card is not

allowed for this gateway, under specified slot position and

SlotModule


Conditions:


Upgrade from Windows version when a Cisco 1760 Gateway exists and is configured with one or more modules that are not available in 5.x or later versions.


Workaround:

None


Further Problem Description:

There is a problem with the configuration files used in Cisco Unified Communications Manager versions for the Cisco 1760. Some entries only appear as valid in version 4.x. Updated configuration files are needed to continue with the upgrade process. Status
