SPA9000 DialPlans

Using SPA9000 and SPA 9x1/2 IP phones, what is the priority of the dial plans that can be set in each device? Should the IP phone have something like (xx.) in the active line(s) and have the rest done by the 9000?

I do not see a comment on this in the many manuals unless I am missing something.

Thank you

Dear Sir;

When SPA phones are behind a SPA9000, SPA9000 controls their dial plan by the parameter [SIP] Phone Dial Plan located in the SPA9000 configuration.

Basically dial plan is managed on SPA9000 in a two stage process:

- 1st dial plan is the Phone dial plan - It controls digit manipulation and interdigit timers at phone level.

- 2nd is the call routing rule + Line dial plan - Call routing rule performs at name indicates, call routing based on number prefix. Then call is passed to the SPA9000 Line (1-4). Each line has a dial plan for digit manipulation (typically to remove the steering digit if any).

If you want to manipulate the phone dial plan, go to SPA9000 [SIP] Phone Dial plan.
