What is the best practice for deploying Pilot Pt/Hunt Group, or Hunt List / Line Group?

This is in reference to a receptionists phone, with a main number, and multiple lines available to answer that number. thanks

If you're using AC, then use AC SPECIFIC elements.

If you only want calls to hunt lines of a phone use line groups.

PP/HP are meant to be used with AC, that's why they're under AC config.

Thanks for the quick response. Its exactly what I needed to know. One more question. I've seen this posted before,but cant seem to find it. Is there a way to mask/modify the outbound ANI of these lines? ANI of main number is what I'm after. Its an H323 GW, maybe a xlation pattern based on answer address? I wanted to stay away from burning DID's since these are only rollovers, but it may be cleaner to do it that way. thanks

I changed the mask on the phone to the main number, that worked.
