Echo Heard for External Incoming and Outgoing Calls

Unanswered Question

The users in the office are experiencing echo.  It is making the system unusable.  The problem happened suddenly.  Nothing was changed on the UC500.  I have tried everything in the Cisco documentation regarding echo problems.   I tried echo-cancel enable, echo cancel coverage 24, 48, and 64, echo-cancel mode
2, I tried setting input gain to -3 and output attenuation to 3.  I did a shut and no shut on the voice-ports every time  I made a change.  Nothing made a difference.  I do have a TAC case open as well but I need to find a resolution asap.


I have this problem too.

If everything was working before, this is likely a hardware problem on the UC, or echo induced on the circuit.  TAC should be able to help you find the solution.  Let us know how it goes.
