Hi,
for multicast traffic testing i have cisco 3560 switch and cisco 2950 switch. if i create multiple VLANs on cisco 3560 switch and if i am doing testing multicast traffic by keeping multicast server in one vlan and test machine in other vlan it works well.howerver if i connect test machine to 2950 switch , testing does not work.
i have created same vlans on both the switches
what will be the minimum configuration required to set up multicast traffic between these two switches.

im not really sure why it works on the 3560 as it shouldn't. the only way for multicast to reach from one vlan to another would be to route, just like normal traffic. Therefore, you would have to turn on multicast routing, create a routing interface on each vlan and enable pim for it to work.
