Hi there all
Can someone please inform of the best method to block unwanted spam calls hitting one of our DDI numbers. I have done this some time back by using the rule reject /xxxx/ and the applying a profile to the PSTN dial peer. However we are using MGCP so peers not configured. Am I missing something really silly? Is it possible within CUCM

I have researched this and found that the easy method would be to create translation pattern. However, as I cannot filter on the ANI only the DNIS then this would mean all calls to the DDI would would have to be routed to a CSS containing nothing.
Any other ideas most welcome
Regards
Simon

Hi Simon,
As you nicely noted this is possible if the Gateway uses H.323, there is no way using MGCP :( Many have tried .........
