I was on vacation last week, this week 3 7940 phones will not work. I have blank screens (with black lines) on 2 of them, one is stuck on the Cisco logo. The line buttons alternate flashing.
I have repeatedly tried the "factory reset" but they never respond in the manner that the instructions say. The yellow flashing line buttons turn to green flashing line buttons after the whole "123456789*0#" entry.
-We DON'T have CM installed still, just CME. It's on DHCP, we don't have any TFTP server setup yet.
Any help would be appreciated.
(And any idea what the Soldiers did to mess up these phones??)
