FWSM 4.0 ARP cache via SNMP - for each context

Are the ARP caches for each context maintained seperately?

If so, how does one obtain the ARP cache for each context?

You should be able to poll the ipNetToPhysicalTable in FWSM 4.0 for each context's IP to get the ARP tables.

Thanks, but what specifically needs to be done - SNMP queries to each IPv4 address of each context?

This would require each context to be individually configured to permit the SNMP access to the IPv4 address of the FWSM for the context?

Is this what you mean?

Thanks

Yes, that is what I understand from my reading. I do not have an FWSM with which to test. I do know that ARP info via SNMP was not added until 4.0.

Thanks.

We have several 4.0 FWSMs to test with - I get the ARP cache for the Admin Context but now will have the other contexts setup to allow access to their ARP caches as well.

Regards
