Hi,
Are there any significant differences between E and non-E switch products regarding multicast handling ? More specifically, i am interested in hardware-based dropping of non-RPF traffic for example ? Or does only the C6500 provide this ?

The 3750-E is documented as "Unlike the 3750, the 3750-E's TCAM/SRAM is incorporated into the Port ASIC". Further, "SRAM forwarding supports L2, Multicast . . .". I assume this would also be true for 3560 vs. 3560-E.
