Is there an example of LMS binaries that are executable by casuser, but would actually required UID 0 (root) to run because it has built-in checks for username "root", other than /etc/init.d/dmgtd?

Thanks.

Just so this does not become another conduit to push me to Windows, do these utilities' Windows counterparts require Administrator privilege to execute on that platform?

There is no hardcoded check, but Administrator privilege is required.
