how do I remove the notice errdisable from interface?

Hi Glenda,

You can clear it by shutdown, no shutdown an interface:

interface x/x

shutdown

no shutdown

Hi Glenda,

Jerry's response is the way to enable the port. But I would like to question WHY did the port go into error disable. If you have not yet enabled the port, try the command "sh interface status err" will let users know the cause/reason.
