requirements for CCNA Voice

Unanswered Question

Hi all,

was becoming interested in the CCNA Voice exam lately and saw the the pre-reqs were the CCNA?

Passed my CCNA in about 2003, CCNP in 2005 and CCIE Security written in 2007 which I think means that the passing of 2 years since the CCIE Sec written exam means I have diddly squat no certs valid?

Did quite fancy the CCNA/CCNP Voice track but if I have to do the CCNA again then I'll probably give it a miss to be honest

Have I got the right end of the stick here - do I have to start all over again ?

I have this problem too.

Hi James,

As Colling suggested go throught the certification tool for the exact inforamtion.

Considering you gave CCIE in 2007, your CCNA and CCNP should have got recertified for another three years. So it will be valid till 2010.

I guess your CCNA/NP should still be valid.

Thanks for the info guys - finally managed to get into the cert tool this morning and yes both the CCNA and CCNP is still valid until next March.

Confusion was because the CCIE Sec written only valid for 2 years (to take the Lab) but extended the NA and NP for 3 years

Regards

James

James,

Just checked out the requirements again for ccnaV

if you pass the CVOICE 6.0 it will give you ccnaV plus recertify your ccnp.
