How do I go about clearing an acknowledged alert when there is no clear button?

You will need to have Daemon Manager shutdown to reinitialize the database. So this will require a complete restart of CiscoWorks.

You cannot. However, there should be a Clear button for both the Alert, and the enclosed events.

There is no clear button though. See the attachment.

There are also no events here. I think the lack of a clear button is due to you using an unsupported browser version. Try using Mozilla, and see if the buttons at the bottom show up.

Here's is what I get using firefox.

Okay, this alert is buggy anyway since it doesn't contain any events. The only way to clear it at this point is to reinitialize the EPM database with the command:

NMSROOT/bin/perl NMSROOT/bin/dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=dfmEpm dmprefix=EPM

Thanks. I'll give it a shot today and let you know. I take it there is no need to restart the server or the services with this?

Thanks. That worked.
