Hi there,

I read that you can set up Cisco 1300 Series autonomous access points in one of seven modes. I need to know about the "non-root-bridge with client" mode. Does this mean that the AP can work SIMULTENEOUSLY as

1-non-root-bridge mode

2-Client laptops can connect to it

Please confirm that this is true.

I need to connect use two 1300 AP for an outdoor P2P connection and I was wondering if the end bridge can at the same time accept client connections or only can talk to the root-bridge?

thanks,

rdianat

Yes, in that mode the bridge will act as a non-root bridge and also service clients.
