CCVP Certification Track

Unanswered Question
Jul 3rd, 2009

Ok I realize that there are tons of conversations regarding this topic, but I need a little clarification. Here are the exams I have taken thus far and dates I passed:

QOS 642-642 Sept. 2007

CVOICE 642-432 Feb. 2008

CIPT1 642-446 Nov. 2008

CCNA Voice 640-460 Mar. 2009

I am working on CIPT2 right now and then will finish up with TUC.

The question is: Am I OK with the 642-432 CVOICE or do I have to go back and take the 642-436 CVOICE?

I do understand that once a track is started you have to finish in 3 years so I will have to complete the CIPT2 and TUC by Sept. 2010 right?

Thanks in advance!

I have this problem too.

Hi David,

As far as I know your old CVOICE should be fine and will be considered for CCVP certification.

Yes you need to finish all the papers by sept 2010.

To be doubly sure, check with certification support team of cisco -

Thanks everyone for the help. I just passed the last test for CCVP!!! I am so relieved. It was really hard but I did it. For anyone that cares here is the order I did it in.

I already had a valid CCNA when I started down the CCVP path. Then I took the following:

CCNA Voice

IMHO the TUC was by far the hardest for me.
