I have two Internet-facing 7600 routers with eBGP peers to the ISP routers. At those edge routers, I am running OSPF also and advertising a default route to our internal OSPF domain using the default-information-originate command. There is no redistribution of BGP into OSPF or vise versa.
I do need an iBGP neighbor between my internet facing routers and that is easy enough to do.
How should I incorporate an OSPF neighborship between those edge routers? Or should I even do it in the first place? Does it have any value? The only OSPF routes that are bing learned by our OSPF core routers and the others that sit behind these edge routers are the default and the /30 inter-connecting links -- thats it.
I have more questions, but I will start with this one for now...
