Hello All,

We have started getting the below error after a network hit.

Below logs are observed in the device:

*Jul 6 00:45:32: %SONET-4-ALARM: POS1/0: B3 BER below threshold, TC alarm cleared

*Jul 6 00:45:34: %SONET-4-ALARM: POS1/0: B3 BER exceeds threshold, TC alarm declared

*Jul 6 01:11:27: %SONET-4-ALARM: POS1/0: B3 BER below threshold, TC alarm cleared

*Jul 6 01:19:46: %SONET-4-ALARM: POS1/0: B3 BER exceeds threshold, TC alarm declared

*Jul 6 01:26:53: %SONET-4-ALARM: POS1/0: B3 BER below threshold, TC alarm cleared

*Jul 6 02:10:22: %SONET-4-ALARM: POS1/0: B3 BER exceeds threshold, TC alarm declared

I have checked the controller Pos and can see error.

Im not able to get any specific documen t or error report in Cisco. Can anyone please help me in fixing this issue.

Check fiber patch, can be transceiver or physical media issue.
