Hello :

I receive this error msg whenever I do copy run start on 7206VXR router .

I have 150 routers in our network and all of them I see this same behaviour.

All are runnng IOS version 12.4(8d) and 12.4(8b) IOS version .

I never seen that log before but I suspect its something to do with the "archive" command which is a new feature starting from IOS 12.3 which could be a reason why it can't be find in cisco website.

The "archive" settings will be triggered once you save the config.

If you have back-to-back maintenance with Cisco, I suggest you contact TAC.

Alternatively, you can post one of the router "archive" config includign the output of "show archive" command.
