I am running 12 access points off of a 4402 WLC. We have alot of dropped connections and very low signal even when you are 10-15 ft away from the access point. We are running at 15.4 watts of power. Could this be the problem ? We are running firmware version 5.2.178.0

We are seeing alot of errors like this.

Yes, at 15.4 watts, you are only using 1 out of 3 spatial streams and also may be running at 6DBm lower than if you ran at 18.5 watts.

Have you tested it without wep to determine performance.

Also, how far apart are the radios?

They are probably 45 feet apart.

Sorry, I was logged in under my alter-ego!

Can you turn off a few of the radios and see what happens?

Also, do you have 1,2 & 5.5 Mbps data rates enabled?

I have the 1,2 and 5.5 set to mandatory.

Test by physically removing one of the radio modules from one of your LAP 1250.
