IPCC express version 4.5 are you able to receive a PSTN call via Call Manager and then route it back out to a different PSTN number. Within the scripting functionality will the function PLACE CALL be able to do this?
We have the following in a script as shown in the attachment
We have the "triggering contact" as a call (from the person that called the ipcc server) and an "OutCall" as a call from the "place call" function.
But we cannot work out how to join the calls together.
Is this possible?
We are looking at this for a swine flu pandemic backup procedure.
The step after the place call would be a menu prompt to say accept the
call? Then if they press 1 the two streams would be joined together
which is the bit we cannot find an answer for.
Any help would be possible.

You must use the Call Redirect or Call Consult Transfer step on the Triggering Contact to accomplish this. There is no method for joining two separate contacts together.

As mentioned by Schulenberg; you cannot connect an incoming leg to an outgoing leg.
I had the same issue about a year ago.

I'd look at the redirect call option. There are so many ways to do things, but you may have to be creative in how you do them.
