Hi all

I have a Cisco ASA5505 with 7.24 image and asdm 5.23. Everything was working well and fine in Routed Mode. Later I changed the device to transparent mode and then i can't able to connect through ASDM and telnet.

Could anybody please help me out to connect asdm in transparent mode.

Thank You

Did you assign the ASA an IP address?? See the below config example:-

yes

Assigned i can able to ping

Okay - so you assigned it an IP address. Are you connected via the same local subnet as the ASA? I am assuming so, since you can ping it. But you may want to set your default route for management traffic. Next, did you configure an SSH command on it to allow SSH management login traffic?

ie:

ssh 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 inside

Be sure you have configured your AAA authentication as well for SSH locally.

aaa authentication ssh console

Unless you are using TACACS:

aaa-server TACACS+ (inside) host 192.168.x.x

key yourkey

aaa-server RADIUS protocol radius

aaa authentication ssh console TACACS+
