It seems that the quality & accuracy of the boson practice tests is not what it used to be

here is an example:

Incorrect. Your answer was: A

The correct answer(s): D

After the following configuration:

Router bgp 6500

Neighbor remote-as 65000

What is the relationship to host

A.) EBGP neighbor

B.) Confederation Peer

C.) Route Reflector Client

D.) IBGP neighbor

After the configuration of:

Router bgp 6500

Neighbor remote-as 65000

The relationship to host is Interior Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) neighbor.

This relationship would be an Exterior Border Gateway Protocol neighbor if the routers were in different

autonomous systems.

There are no Route Reflector Client or Confederation parameters in the configuration.

Cisco Press Book Reference: PDF Page - 447

Basic BGP Configuration Commands

QID: 65 Cisco Press CCNP BSCI

since the defined AS is 6500 wouldn't the remote AS of 65000 be an eBGP neighbor?

when does 6500 = 65000 ?

I would really like to hear others; impressions on good alternatives to the boson practice exams.

To be completely honest, I have yet to encounter a practice exam without a typo which rendered a question invalid, confusing, or downright frustrating...

The crux of the matter is knowing the material such that you are confident in your answers, and getting over the human mistake involved in creating the material... Again: Knowing the exam material is More Important. :)

As another example, every Sybex manual(and the included exams) I have ever read contained multiple typos/mistakes... Though they were mostly good reads :)

I will say that The Cisco Press books have been Very solid thus far (CCNA ICND1 & ICND2 -- Thank you Wendell Odom!!! CCNP-BSCI and BCMSN)

The Transcenders are still pretty good. I used them when I had to re-cert.

Yes it would be an iBGP connection.

thanks for the feedback.

I still do not see how it would be iBGP as the AS #s are different

Probably a typo (missing a zero).

That is my point entirely! There are too many typos & inaccuracies in the boson software
