GBIC and Zenpaks

I have one 6513 and one 7206 in Core. On 7206 there is GBIC interface and on 6513 there is zenpaks module. Is is possible to connection between to devices through this type of interfaces.

No way. GBIC is 1 Gb while Xenpaks are 10Gb.

which module I need at 7206 end to connect to 6513 Zenpaks.

I don't believe the 7200/7200 VXR can support 10Gb.

7200 does not supports 10G interfaces. Suggest you go for 1G connectivity between your 6513 and 7206 router.


A GBIC-GBIC or GBIC-SFP approach.
