bgp next-hop-unchanged command

cisco (AS 200)---> L3switch (AS 100)---> GW router (AS 100)

i am configuring ebgp peer between GW router (AS100) to cisco (AS 200). in My L3 switch ospf is running and i had created static route to cisco AS 200 ip block and i had redistributed into ospf

in my GW router while configuring ebgp neighbor if i configure below command what will be the impact

neighbor x.x.x.x next-hop-unchanged

I have this problem too.

BGP next-hop-unchanged command is used to send BGP updates to BGP peers without modifying the next hop attribute. In your scenerio I don't think its required
