Hey,

i am facing a problem when i add a 2960 switch to the NAC manager switches. I checked the log and i found the following error: cisco SNMP trap event is received from switch [172.22.1.46] which is NOT in our database

Note that i was using the ios: c2960-lanbase-mz.122-44.SE3.bin

then i upgraded the ios to the following:

c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-50.SE1.bin

same problem still exists

Please also note that i configured a 3750 switch (in the same subnet 172.22.1.0) the same way and it was added successfully.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Please open a TAC case, it can be added manually in the database. Something have gone wrong on the database.

i solved the problem:

the c2960 switches were not identified by the NAM database

So i entered to Device Management -> Clean Access -> Updates and i clicked on "Update"

so it updated its database and the c2960 are recognized now by the database
