UCCX 5.x Trigger configuration

when I try to add a trigger to my application I get this error

* Failed to create the CTI Route Point and corresponding Line on Unified CM.

what's wrong ?

What product/version?

Assuming CCX 5.0+ you likely have a permission problem with AXL and CCX is unable to issue the API commands. Re-check your configuration against the installation guide to begin, especially the Application Users created.

Also ensure that that CTI RP or DN does not already exist. CCX will not overwrite a device/DN that already exists. If either are present, change your config or delete them and try again.
